The Sweet Spot Training Bat is an excellent tool for players of all ages and abilities. It aids in the development of proper swing mechanics, increased bat speed and more visual acuity. The CONCEPT: Common today is the use of metal, aluminum or composite bats. These bats improve performance because they are lighter and offer more “power.” They are also very “forgiving” to the hitter – balls hit incorrectly actually end up becoming hits. While this may be great for the hitter in a game situation or on a short-term basis, it is not at all ideal when it comes to training. Using a metal bat when training allows a hitter to create bad habits and incorrect swing mechanics with little or no negative feedback.
